Chico, I've been following you for a long time now!  Especially to the Ricoh venue.
I think that your voting off in "X Factor was a fix. Brenda should have gone.
Your cover version of Time Warp rocked! (Strange, but I didn't see you with a Bass guitar on that?).
Signed,
An anonymous fan

What a great night last night my ears are still buzzing. Haven't seen The Nags that packed since the last time you were in town. The whole place jumped to 'I predict a Riot' - beer and clammy bits everywhere! Only one criticism, the Moby Dick taster in the middle of Mony Mony, PLEASE learn the complete track, it always leaves us wanting. I promised that nice lady in the Arctic Monkeys T-shirt that I'd suggest 'I bet you look good on the dance floor' as your next triumph, so go on boys, give it a go for us 8 ball girlies.

The landlord turned you off too soon, we wanted much, much more! Thanks for another memorable night at The Nags, my box has never been quite so rocked (visual joke)

Mega gig at the Nags on Sunday. Would you guys consider playing ‘Pretty in Pink’ by the Psycadelic Furs. It’s my all time no.1 song. I agree with Hayley, ‘Behind Blue Eyes’ would be a brilliant song to do. Rock on.   Tom!!

Hi Guys

My friend Abbi and me were at both of your gigs at the weekend. The Kingswood was jumping. The Nags was unbelievable. Fantastic sound until the engineer tried to blow our ear drums in the 2nd set. DON’T TOUCH!! Loved the drum solo. Antonio certainly hits the spot with me. See you soon. Debs.

Hi 8balls

Just visited your website and you look pretty busy over the next few months. Can't wait for your visit to Stoke Golding on 30th September - they won't know what's hit 'em! Ever had 'All or Nothing' on your play list? Could you do it at Stoke , by any chance?  Will explain why next time we see you. Hope to get along to one of your gigs in early September. Take care.

Hiya

I was at the Manor & I agree with Dave. Rebellious are a great band but next time demand to go on last. If I ever see the Rooters again I think I’m gonna do myself in. Great guitarist (and nice bloke) but who does the bass player think he is? Is he for real? Keep on Rocking, Megan xxxxx

Hi 8 Ball,

I was at the Manor and I thought your sound was awesome from the start!! Why were you not on last? It was a real anti-climax compared to the last 3 years. Me and my mates are getting fed up with regurgitated 70’s rock!! We want to hear Electric 6, Kaiser Chiefs, Feeder). Come on 8 Ball…..keep on showing the others the way!

Rock’n’roll and get yer ya-ya’s out. Dave (+ Blixx, Danno, Tracy, Amy, Shelly)

Hi, saw you playing the ‘Breast Cancer’ gig at the Manor on the 16th. The sound was a bit dodgy until the sound engineer found his ears and actually put you through the PA (during the last but one song!!!). From that point you were awesome. Have you ever considered doing a version of ‘La Vida Loca’ or ‘I Like The Way You Move’ by the Bodyrockers? Looking forward to the Kingswood and the Nags in September.

Cheers, Rob Kineton. (failed guitarist and rock star!!)

A up Buddyyyyyyyyyyyy, I'm just replying to a article on your site, I must apologize to a lady called Hayley Roberts who commented how hot the Nags was last time the 8 BALL BOYS entertained The NAGS crowd .The Harkins family have now ran The NAGS for nearly eleven years and feel that enough's enough, I have to say that I applaud all of the fans of all of the bands who have had to put up with the sweltering heat over the years, and as time has gone on since my father died (Brian Harkins) back in April 2001 I have become soft in my old age by doing things that my DAD would go mad at, as most people who remember my Dad would probably agree that he wasn't one for spending his money, as he used to say to the 8 Ball Boys every time he have to pay them at the end of the night "YOUR KILLING ME" just because he didn't want to pay them there full £50 lol, but joking a side I'm please to announce that The NAGS now has AIR CON which has cost the family £7500 so please don't complain about the price of lager which has had to go up in price to £4 a pint, Only mucking the drinks are still at ridiculously cheap prices, hope to see all the 8 Ball fans on New Years Eve for one hell of a party (with AIR CON) - yours Julian

Boys
How about a bit of rock and roll such as 'Please Don't Touch' by Johnny Kidd and the Pirates (and Motorhead/Girlschool). The gig at The White Lion was ace. Are you playing there again?
Cheers D.

I was walking past the White Hart on Saturday night with two of my girlfriends and could sense something big was going down. As the door opened my ears were filled with a huge sound. My favourite song 'Wicked Games' was being played with great soul and we just had to come in. Your band looks and plays fantastic. It has opened my eyes and ears and we are definitely coming to see you again. Thanks again for a fantastic performance!!

Great night last night lads. Heard all the hype and was looking forward to seeing you in the flesh. Ace set and the sound, considering the size of the room was great. Very informative website and we'll be coming along to the Nags Head (if we can find it).

Cheers Dave and Bob

Hi Lads

Saw the 8 Ball Boys at the Blacksmiths Arms 2 weeks ago and just had to come over to Fosters Yard. You were fantastic on both occasions. (How's Bass players amp?). The power that comes out from just a 3 piece is awesome. Have you ever thought of playing 'Into the Valley' by the Skidlids? It's a great song and I think you could do it justice. Rock On!! and look forward to the Nags.   Stevie
