JOE'S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE 2004
Dear 8 Balling Joe Public,
It’s me, Joe. Coming to you
from the Throne Room at Salami Towers, deep in the heart of the 8 Ball
Badlands. The time has come to wipe the bread sauce off the front of my
black silk PJ's and send a Christmas message to you all!
As I pull another cracker the year 2004 rapidly disappears over the horizon
and it’s time to reflect on a years worth of pure rockin' mayhem. The best
yet! Sixty plus gigs, huge gear, humungous trousers and a new website.

Many thanks from me to Chico Fernandez, finally risen, and Bone Skeletana the
master of the heavy artillery, my rockin' brethren both. From The Fir Tree
to The Nags Head and all points in between. No sleep ‘til the Kingswood
Tavern where our destiny awaits!
But most of all thanks to you, Joe Public! We emptied our collective bits to
you many times and still you were thirsty for more! We have willingly
sacrificed ourselves on the altar of Rock'n'Roll on your behalf and
maintained our solemn pledge and 8 Ball oath "We rock, so that you don't
have to!"
You probably think that by now Chico Ricardo Fernandez is a bloated opulent
corpse, wasted by cheap Australian sherry and mistletoe abuse? Do you
imagine Bone Skeletana to be stretched on the rack of the Rock'n'Roll Dream,
a cruel broken and twisted reminder of what was once humanity? In your
dreams do you see me, Delfuego, drunk and naked except for Xmas socks. a
festering remnant of Christmas past leering over you as you tremble beneath
the sheets? Fear
not Joe Public your nightmares
are but the taunts of El Diablo, well most of them anyway.
Despite the Yuletide excess our
equipment is lubed and polished daily to ensure that speed and articulation
is not lost and despite the festive gorgings we are still hungry! Yes people
we are hungry for ROCK!!!
So one again mucho thanks 8 Balling Joe Public! I strum an E5 major power
chord and raise my pickin' hand in a salute to those who have rocked and
will rock again! For those of you lucky enough to have tickets for the
Kingswood, see us kick out the Christmas jams and ride with us into 2005 for
another year of 8 Balling madness!!!
